Fit-and-forget November 1st 2003 Parvalux has introduced a range of high performance, brushless dc motors with integrated gearboxes.
The company says that by eliminating brushes from the motor, electrical and mechanical noise is reduced, operating efficiency increased and there are no maintenance requirements. The new motors are suitable for industrial applications where long life and low maintenance are key requirements.
Available with a choice of integrated gearboxes with in-line or right angle output shafts, they provide a range of operating speeds from 0.6 to 680 rpm and torques from 2.2 to 100Nm.
The two motors in the range are rated at 140W at 2000 rpm and 200W at 2800 rpm, with an operating voltage of 24v dc. They are available with single reduction, double reduction and multi-spur gearboxes to give a wide range of speeds and output torque.
