Motor controllers for electrical vehicles specialist, PG Drives Technology, has announced the launch of the new Sigmadrive controller family. These thermally advanced, high efficiency AC Induction and DC motor controllers are designed for forklift trucks, tow tractors and other similar electric vehicle applications.

The controllers are suitable for all AC motors and employ realtime, high resolution current measurement combined with advanced flux control techniques, offering smooth and highly efficient control of vehicle torque and speed.

The controllers are available now in three frame sizes for tract and, pump applications, at systems voltage of 24V-96V and current outputs from 125-460A rms and will be on display at IMHX.
