New drives on show
January 1st 2008 Machine Building is an important
event for R. A. Rodriguez as it
provides the opportunity for the
company to showcase its new
range of drives to UK industry and
also to emphasise its competence
in linear motion technology. In
addition to the modular Werner
systems, the company will also be
demonstrating examples from its
own linear range. R. A. Rodriguez
has been appointed the exclusive
UK representative for drive
manufacturer Framo Morat. Its
range of systems includes the
Compacta slip-on geared motor
with built-in limit switches. This is a
suitable actuator for reverse motion
and is available in four sizes with
torques up to 600Nm. Examples
from the company's own range of
linear components will also be
shown at Machine Building 2008.
These include linear guideways,
ball bushings, bearings housings,
