Warns of contamination
July 1st 2006

A new moisture sensor from Parker Hannifin's Filter Division Europe is designed to help eliminate the problems caused by moisture forming in hydraulic oils used in applications ranging from paper manufacturing to car body panel pressing and in mobile hydraulic equipment.

The MS150 is quick and easy to install and set up, both by OEMs and users. It is compact, lightweight and is said to be extremely accurate and available at low cost.

The device incorporates a flow-through sensor cell that is installed directly in the flow stream to produce an accurate reading that shows the real time percentage of moisture present in the operating fluid; this includes petroleum and syntheticbased hydraulic and lubricating oils.
