Fresh batch
July 1st 2008

Mitsubishi Electric's latest batch server is for controlling short-run processes in small and mediumsized specialised applications.

Based on Mitsubishi's Melsec System Q controllers, the new PAC (programmable automation controller) solution for recipeoriented production offers an alternative to conventional computer-based solutions.

The high-availability PAC Batch Server conforms to the ISA S88.01 industry standard and is a joint development with INEA and the Jozef Stefan Institute, both based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The Jozef Stefan Institute developed the algorithms for the implementation of the standards.
