Lcd-for-crt replacement
May 1st 2007 Kent Modular Electronics has
launched a range of LCDs for
Cathode Ray Tube monochrome
replacement monitors which are
'Form, Fit and Function' compatible
with its 20C series.
The new 29LW (11UN) series of
monitors has been developed with
a new, lower cost driver board and,
as a result, KME says it is able to
make cost-effective LCD
replacements for the monochrome
CRT monitors in 5, 7, 9 and 12in
sizes, which are electronically and
mechanically compatible with CRT
monitors. Units are easy to retrofit
in the existing CRT space.
The TFT monitor is able to
handle low-resolution (slow scan)
legacy signals, which cover CGA
via TTL, Composite (PAL) and VGA
inputs.
Monitors are also available with
12VDC or Mains 110/220VAC supply
