Technology updates
January 1st 2008 AS-Interface Expert Alliance will
deliver a set of presentations on
day 2 of MTEC, focused on
education, information and
technology updates.
Called Designing and Using ASInterface
products and networks,
including Functional Safety
Systems, the goal is to help users
to better understand AS-Interface
and what it can do, with special
reference to the latest V3
specifications which substantially
extend AS-i's functionality.
It will offer advice on how to
design and build networks
effectively, and will also deal with
Machine Safety with a presentation
describing what AS-i Safe is and
how to use it, with emphasis on
'Competence' as the key design
and commissioning criteria.
