Operating in conjunction with a single back-up battery a 130 W AC/DC switch-mode power supply introduced by VxI Power can provide a reliable source of power for mission critical applications.

Available in both 12 and 24 V versions, the Oracle III-130 features link selectable input voltage ranges of 90-132 V or 180-264 V and is equipped with one main output, one temperature-compensated battery charger output and two auxiliary outputs. In the event of a mains failure the back-up battery supplies power to the load via an internal diode to ensure output is maintained without interruption.

The unit is convection-cooled and can deliver 130 W continuously at the maximum permissible ambient temperature at 55 °C. Temperature compensation of the battery charger circuit extends down to the minimum operating temperature of -25 °C.
