Desktop cases March 1st 2007 Schroff 's new series of desktop cases are fully configured for use in PXI-based test and measurement applications. Using the technology of the company's ratiopacPRO case, the new systems come in four versions to accommodate 8, 14, 18 or 21 PXI boards. The shielded 4U-high systems comply with the IEEE 1101 specification for mechanical hardware and have 3U PXI backplanes conforming to the PICMG 2.0 R3.0 cPCI core standard. Backplanes have system slots on the left and can be extended with pluggable 64bit PXI bridges without loss of slots. All systems are hot-swap compatible. More articles from Schroff UK Ltd: |
