Steam and process fluid control specialist Flowserve Gestra has been taking to the roads across Europe with its demonstration rig. The lorry and trailer combo provides demonstrations of Gestra's range of steam and condensate systems and like-for-like comparisons with a wide range of steam traps.

Other items of original Gestra equipment that can be seen working include an oil and turbidity detection system, conductivity level probe with digital display used as part of an automated boiler blowdown system, cooling water control value and pressure controller. The on-board electronics are all from Gestra's SPECTORcompact, SPECTORbus and new SPECTORcontrol ranges, demonstrating the versatility and ease of installation afforded by the latest generation of fully integrated bus-based technology.
