Instrumental in boosting cleanliness January 1st 2009 MKS Instruments UK in
Telford manufactures and
assembles Ultra High
Vacuum components for the
scientific industry. Cleanliness
is a critical element of the
process, and Elga Process
Water's Service De-
Ionisation (SDI) plays a key
role.
MKS Instruments'
resources include CNC
machinery and CADCAM
systems. Prior to assembly all
components are cleaned by
an automated aqueous
cleaning plant.
MKS Instruments worked
with Elga Process Water to
upgrade the quality of its
deionised water and its
cleaning potential and opted
for service exchange
cylinders. Elga supplies a
cylinder containing mixed
bed ion exchange resins
which is simply connected to
a closed loop system to
produce high purity
deionised water.When resins
are exhausted, Elga delivers a
replacement cylinder and
returns the exhausted one to
its regeneration station. More articles from ELGA Process Water: |
