Lightens bills
May 1st 2008 EMS says its LightStar lighting
optimisers can save companies
between 25 and 55% of annual
lighting electricity consumption by
making small reductions to the
voltage. Such reductions are
controlled through software which,
with the use of light sensors, enable
reductions in energy while at the
same time maintaining light levels.
The system
uses multiple
tapping
transformers
which enable
variable
impedance
through an
intelligent
control
system. The
higher the
availability of natural light, the
higher the savings.
LightStar allows automatic
dimming of Discharge Type Fittings
and Electronic Fluorescent fittings
