Portable IR thermometer

Two portable IR thermometers have been introduced by Land Instruments International.

Cyclops 100 and Cyclops 100B provide wired RS232C serial communications. Cyclops 100B has enhanced connectivity using Bluetooth wireless communications

These handheld thermometers use the latest digital signal processing to provide fast, reliable, precision temperature readings within the range 550 to 3000°C.

A bright, backlit external multifunction graphics panel gives an indication of thermometer status and configuration, together with simultaneous displays of continuous, average, peak and valley temperatures.

The precision reflex optical system gives a narrow field of view (180:1, to 98% energy) permitting clearly defined measurement of high temperature targets as small as 4.8mm at 1m.

Targets as small as 0.4mm diameter can also be measured using optional close-up lenses.
