Precision Digital Mutimeters
November 1st 2006 New from Fluke is the 8845A and 8846A Precision Digital Multimeters, featuring 6.5 digit resolution, a dual display that shows data in graphic or numeric formats, and multifunction measurement capability. These high-accuracy meters emulate several legacy bench DMMs, and are designed to provide value for bench or systems applications including manufacturing test, research and development, and service. Fourteen measurement functions, extend the capability of a standard DMM with wider ranges and features to easily measure temperature, capacitance, period and frequency. The 2x4 Ohms function uses patented split terminal jacks that allow users to perform 4- wire measurements using only two leads instead of four. The meters measure DC volts with an accuracy of up to 0.0024 %, a voltage range of 100mV to 1000V with up to 100nV resolution, a current range of 100microA to 10A with up to 100pA resolution, and have a wide Ohms measurement range from 10 Ohms to 1 giga-Ohm with up to 10 micro-Ohms resolution.
