March 1st 2005 Suitable for housing electronics and instrumentation that requires safe transportation or protection from knocks, Peli Protector Cases are watertight, crushproof cases that float on water and are also dust-proof and corrosion-proof.
A panel frame mounting system is available for all cases up to the 1550 model, to install interface electronic panels. The frame fits inside the case wall and is fastened with stainless steel screws that fit into pre-drilled holes. An O-ring gasket seals the panel, so the case is watertight even with the lid open.
