Tension load cell
September 1st 2007 For applications calling for
measurement or monitoring of
tension such as ropes, cables or
hopper loading, the new Model
RLT Tension Load Cell from RDP
Electronics is claimed to provide a
reliable, accurate and low cost
answer.
The Model RLT series is
available in versions suitable for
ranges from 5kgf (49Nm) to
2500kgf (25kNm) with linearity of
±0.03%, high accuracy and infinite
resolution. It measures the tension
force applied between the top and
bottom mounting threads. A strain
gauge type transducer with a mV
output, the RLT can be used in
conjunction with a signal
conditioning amplifier – these are
also available from RDP.
