Metrum Information Storage supplies data acquisition and logging products that were introduced recently by a manufacturer in Germany.

The CANSAS range uses the industry standard CAN system where many parameters can be monitored in conjunction with other discrete measurements. When the flexibility of this system is combined with one of the data loggers, busDAQ, Spartan and Cronos-PL, the data system begins to take shape.

Each logger provides differing levels of specification up to 500 channels. Any input type can be used with the signal conditioning for voltage, current, temperature, strain gauges, digital inputs and special bus requirements. CAN signals can also be stored to the loggers, expanding the system to many channels.
