Water tests

An easy-to-use, handheld meter has been introduced by Palintest to determine bromine and chlorine levels in water. The splashproof instrument is equally suited to bench use in treatment plants and laboratories, or field use by engineers and contractors. The Bromometer Duo is powered by two 1.5v batteries and uses established Palintest DPD chlorine and bromine test methods to offer a fast, simple check on disinfection and sterilisation levels. Using genuine Palintest reagents, it can accurately test bromine in the range 0 to 10mg/l and chlorine in the range 0 to 5mg/l, with a resolution of 0.01mg/l for both ranges. Readings are clearly displayed on a 10mm lcd.
