Signal tower
January 1st 2004 A new range of signal towers with three colours can be connected directly to ASi fieldbus cables and can be combined with other devices on the same cable, saving costs in machine wiring and installation time.
Available from Lenze, the Patlite signal towers have 50 or 70mm dia bodies and led lamps that are said to achieve a lifetime greater than 100 000h. There is also a wall-mounted indicator that has a depth of only 37.5mm. All models are available with red, amber and green, an an optional 90dB alarm.
As current consumption is low, typically 50mA or less, the towers can be operated off a single ASi cable provided the total demand for the system is less than 2A. More articles from Lenze Ltd: |
