Award winning diagnostics
November 1st 2007

Artesis MCM, a new entrant to the UK predictive maintenance market, has won an Innovation in Engineering Award from the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

The company monitors the condition of electric motor driven equipment, effectively using the motor itself as a sophisticated transducer. The system offers automated set-up and fault diagnosis with minimal user intervention. It is applicable to a wide range of motor driven equipment.

Hand tool makes light work of sweeping Hours spent hand sweeping the yard at Belswains is now a thing of the past since the company purchased Broadwood's BroomEx rotary hand sweeper. Easy to use and store, the sweeper folds down to take minimum storage space. Various models are available measuring from 700- 1200mm wide and weighing from 45 kilograms. The BroomEx is small enough to clean a narrow pathway or a large yard and is easily portable to take from one location to another. Suitable for a wide range of applications including paths, pavements, driveways, floors and gardens, the rotary hand sweeper is available with a range of optional extras including a plastic debris collector, snow-blade, snow brush and tyre chains.
