A rechargeable LED work lamp is now available from Redashe. The Coolite inspection lamp has 10 rows of three, light emitting diodes (LEDs) and is protected by a durable rubber casing. After the initial 8 hour charge, the lamp can be fully charged in 3 hours from flat and has a working life of 6 hours.

A bright light is emitted covering a wide area. The brightness level remains constant for the duration of the charge; it will not gradually dim as will a normal battery powered light. According to Redashe the lamp has 10 times the efficiency of incandescent bulbs. A red LED illuminates to indicate when recharging is required.
