Improved support for RCM strategies

Process Systems has
enhanced its Avantis.PRO
enterprise asset management
software solution. Many of the
enhancements are designed to
provide users with better support
for their reliability centered
maintenance strategies.
The new release offers
enforcement and validation of
critical asset information required
for integration with third-party root
cause analysis solutions. In
addition, preventive maintenance
functions have been expanded to
enable analysis of forecasted
labour and material requirements.
Globalisation and multi-site
capabilities, for sharing of
equipment information, PM jobs,
and costing across plant locations
or job sites, have also been
improved.
Additional enhancements
include: more comprehensive
analysis and valuation capabilities
for MRO inventory; increased data
capture and views of procurement
information and more flexibility in
approval procedures; greater
support for more efficient physical
transfer of parts and materials
among multiple geographies and
work sites; and enhanced user
