Service for all brands of PHE
March 1st 2006 Alfa Laval now reconditions any brand of plate heat exchanger (PHE) and provides a 'good-asnew' guarantee once it has passed its final workshop inspection.
Commenting on the introduction of the AllBrands service, James Hankin, UK parts and service director, says "In the UK alone, more than 55 000 plates annually pass through our Camberley workshops. So, whatever the process or duty a PHE is used for , we are likely to have encountered - and solved - virtually any problem some time in the past."
The company's workshops feature state-of-the-art equipment for gasket removal, cleaning and inspecting plates and re-gasketing using their own, oven-cured, epoxy-based adhesives.
