Temporary lighting solution
July 1st 2006

A balloon light has been introduced by Ingersoll Rand Utility Equipment for construction sites and other temporary lighting requirements.

Described as a low capital investment, the product is based on a plug & light concept. Packaged in an easy-to-carry bag and weighing less than 10kg, it is simple to install in a one-man process that takes less than 5min.

The unit requires only a small 3.5kVA generator and can be mounted on virtually any piece of equipment, allowing it to move with the job in hand. A tripod is optional.

The unit includes a central array of four 500W halogen lamps protected inside a strong, impactresistant bowl. The 2000W of lamp power provides 300 lux of illumination immediately under the light. This diffuses through 360 to cover an area of 1400m2.
