Water great new contract September 1st 2009 Thames Water, the UK's largest water and sewerage company serving 13.6 million customers across London and the Thames Valley, has awarded Brammer a sole supply contract for bearings, mechanical power transmission, seals, gaskets, fluid power and associated products.
Over the three-year contract, Brammer will improve maintenance spare parts management for Thames Water by driving product range consolidation, reducing the number of parts required to eliminate stock duplication, obsolescence and waste.
Brammer will also deliver improved product availability and reduce supply chain administration and complexity, creating operational cost savings in the process.
Brammer has worked with Thames Water for more than eight years and says that this new contract is a testament to the proactive partnership approach adopted by Brammer during that time.
The new Supply of Industrial Parts Mechanical and Fasteners agreement with Brammer replaces various framework agreements held by Thames Water with a number of service providers. More articles from Brammer UK Ltd: |
