Ammonia check September 1st 2005 Levels of ammonia in industrial effluents can be checked quickly using a handheld photometer from Palintest. Samples can be taken from any point in the process and tested in minutes.
The meter accurately measures ammonia across the spectrum of normal regulatory levels, helping to ensure waste waters have ammonia levels within Discharge Consent limits.
Used in conjunction with a specially designed reagent dispenser, performing the test is simple, even in extreme conditions.
Based on the standard Nessler method, the first reagent is supplied in a Tubetest sealed test tube, the second in the dispenser.
After the sample is added to the first reagent, the second is added.
After 1min, the tube is inserted in the meter, two buttons pressed, and the LCD displays the ammonia concentration. More articles from Palintest Limited: |
