Sick UK believes its CQ 28 sensor offers users in need of reliable and accurate level detection hardware an array of features and benefits that differentiate it from other equipment on the market.

Its small size is said to belie its operating range capability, while multiple mounting options (front, pipe or plane) make it a very flexible device for industrial applications involving tanks, tubes and containers that house liquids, solids or powders. High EMC immunity and an IP rating of 68 enable it to be used in harsh environments.

The capacitive proximity switch reliably detects liquids and bulk materials through non-metallic walls.
