Yokogawa United Kingdom has introduced a new version of its RotaMASS Series 3 Coriolis mass flow meter with Foundation Fieldbus communications.

The RCCT3 supports bidirectional fieldbus communications, ensuring interoperability with other field instruments and offering cost reductions by the use of multi-drop wiring with fewer cables.

The device has four independent analogue input function blocks for mass flow, volume flow, density and temperature calculation. Also included are two independent integrator function blocks for mass, volume or net totalisation, while two additional analogue input function blocks for concentration measurement and net flow calculation are options.
