Heater block for COD tests November 1st 2005 A new multi-tube heater block has been introduced by Palintest and is suitable for Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) reactions. It enables the company to offer economical COD test kits for use with its Tubetest system. These include heater block, test tube rack, photometer adaptor and micropipettor.
The heater block is a microprocessor-controlled incubator with a dual LED. Its multitube block is said to offer significant advantages in spacesaving and power consumption over the traditional method.
Temperature is settable from 30 to 200°C, and features stability, uniformity and accuracy of ±1°C.
The Tubetest system offers a simple, quick and conventional method of testing COD that conforms to the ISO standard on sealed-tube testing. More articles from Palintest Limited: |
