Kistler Instruments’ CoMo View is a development of its CoMo New production process monitoring system. It has a built-in 5.7in colour touch-screen that displays process parameters in real time and gives operator access to the menu of pre-set process definitions.

The new unit accepts a wide range of inputs from piezoelectric and strain gauge sensors, voltage output sensors and potentiometric angle and displacement sensors, allowing any combination of acceleration, force and pressure to be monitored as a function of angle, displacement or time.

Twelve combinable process evaluation functions, including boxes, real time thresholds, gradient and integral, can be used to monitor block force, limit position and threading or the entire curve. Real time digital I/Os and high speed process and curve data exportation ensures that monitoring remains reliable, even at high sampling rates. The built-in Ethernet gives easy connection to a corporate network.
