The new 300 Series UV water disinfection system from Hanovia has been developed for small-flow industrial process water applications (up to 65m3/h) in the food, beverage, brewing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The system uses amalgam low pressure UV lamps, also known as high output, low pressure lamps.

An extension of the company's 200 series, the 300 series offers increased treatment capacity due to higher efficiency lamps and a longer treatment chamber, that increases the contact time.

Control panel and treatment chamber are pre-wired and mounted on a frame, creating a compact unit that is easy to integrate within existing pipework with minimal disruption to plant.

By killing bacteria, viruses and moulds, UV ensures process water is free from spoilage or potentially pathogenic microorganisms.
