Accuracy and flexibility January 1st 2004 A new series of high performance remotely rangeable level sensors has been introduced by GE Druck.
The RTX 1930 range, through the use of digital correction techniques and a serial configuration interface, provides a fully rangeable 4-20mA sensor with a high level of measurement accuracy, flexibility and long term reliability.
It allows 4:1 user rangeability on ranges from 2.5 to 700mH2O, calibrated in a choice of pressure units, such as mH2O, ftH2O, inH2O, psi and mbar. The 2-wire 4-20mA output can be inverted as a power saving feature, for example, to provide 20 - 4mA for 0-10mH2O.
The 4:1 down ranging feature is controlled remotely by optional RS232 serial interface. This is supplied with free Remote Configuration Software for ease of use. More articles from Druck Ltd: |
