AKO UK has launched an improved version of its aerator/vibratory system to enhance the flow of dry solids from hoppers, bins and silos.

Instead of having different types of aerator in the range, there is now one specification for all applications. Housing and lock nut are stainless steel 316 and the pad is white neoprene, a fully FDA approved material.

Other improvements include: lower profile, smooth pad surface to encourage product flow, and a higher temperature rating (300°F).

SureFlo vibrators are said to promote more product fluidisation than rubber competitors. the system can operate from 5 to 60psi, so is compatible with both high pressure/low volume blowers or low pressure/high volume compressors. The vibrator housings have greater open areas giving increased airflow and higher levels of vibration to prevent the product adhering to the container wall.
