Angle grinder
January 1st 2006

The LSV 48 angle grinder from Atlas Copco Tools is featured in a new brochure that contains technical details, safety tips and reasons to choose the LSV 48.

Tests have shown that the angle grinder can remove up to 60% more material than many vertical grinders, reducing process times and bottom line costs.

The company says its spindle lock means less downtime as just one tool is needed to replace the disc, speeding changeover.

Accessiblity is enhanced as the height over the spindle is just 78mm.

Specially angled handles ensure wrists remain straight, reducing the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome, while the low vibration of 2.5m/s2 helps lessen the risk of vibration white finger.

Should free speed exceed nominal speed, overspeed protection is automatically activated to avoid the risk of disc explosion.
