Boost for mobile computing November 1st 2003 HHP claims to have added a new dimension to mobile computing with the introduction of its Dolphin 9500 and 9550 units.
The computers are powered by the companys fourth generation Adaptus imaging technology and are suitable for all mobile in-premise and in-transit data collection applications that require durability, ergonomics, wireless communications and low cost-of-ownership.
The ultra-slim Dolphins comprise computer, digital camera, and triple-radio with integrated wireless wan, lan and pan. They provide mobile workers with seamless connectivity and advanced features, such as: Intel X-Scale processor; Microsoft Pocket PC operating platform; lithium-ion battery technology with extended life performance; and colour display.
