Ashtead Technology Rentals has expanded its fleet of pipeline crawlers to include the easy-tooperate Rovver 600.

The Rovver’s remote pendant enables users to control focus and lighting and to steer the crawler when obstacles such as debris or offsets are present. Lightweight and portable, it can be used in pipes from 150 to 600mm dia.

The crawler can be used where access is difficult. The control unit need not be housed in a customised van and this feature is further assisted by provision of an extension cable link between the control unit and the start of the reinforced cable that connects to the crawler. The Rovver needs a 110 or 240v power supply.

Data is compatible with WINCAN and can be recorded to PC or DVD.
