CLEANER FOR THE PRESSROOM

Dust, dirt and static electricity can cause problems for many industries. In printing, for example, substrates brought into the pressroom often contain minute particles of dirt, dust or debris generated by converted processes or picked up during transport.

Substrates attract dirt and dust when they become charged with electricity. Static charged moving substrates retain airborne particles and cause quality problems downstream. ACE sheet/web cleaners are no-contact systems that neutralise electrostatic charges and remove contaminates from sheet and plate material and so on. They help to prevent hickies or voids in printed areas and problems such as slitter dust, paper fuzz, lint and ambient dust.

Cleaners are said to remove contaminate particles smaller than 1 micron.
