CLEANROOM IONISING BLOWER
March 1st 2004

The Meech 220ss cleanroom ionising blower has been developed specifically to meet the stringent environmental criteria defined for high specification cleanrooms and the demanding requirements for ionisation within the electronics industry. The 220ss deviates from conventional design in that it is made from stainless steel, with a special tear drop profile that is said to minimise disturbances to clean-room laminar airflows. Modified cross flow fan technology results in virtually silent operation (typically < 50dBA), as well as increased laminar air volumes and velocities. Ion balance can be controlled to 0.5V, providing a very high level of ESD security.
