Clear vision of measurements

Responding to increasing customer demand for on-line measurement in more complex locations, NDC Infrared Engineering has developed a ClearVision viewing window attachment.

Designed to work with its MM710 on-line sensor, the company says it allows variable insertion into products in places that would otherwise be inaccessible.

ClearVision is said to enable more accurate measurement of moisture and other key process constituents, allowing improved process control in bulk industries such as ceramic, chemical, detergent and food.

The attachment is also said to ensure consistent on-line measurement of products that have surface characteristics that make them difficult to measured, for example where the surface is not representative of the whole material or where it is obscured by steam.
