CONTROL FOR 24 AXES
March 1st 2005

Lenze has introduced a series of motion controllers suitable for servo applications. The compact units cover a range from 1 to 24 axes and are designed to give flexible motion control with capacity for interpretation, cam profiles, electronic gearing, linked movement and axis superimposition.

Models in the MC range extend from the MC202 that suits 1 or 2 axes, to the MC224 that can handle 24 axes. All are said to give high accuracy from 32 bit technology.

RS232, RS485, USB and DeviceNet are fitted as standard.

Additional communications through Profibus, SERCOS, Ethernet and CANbus are achieved through plug-in daughter boards.

Controllers are supplied with free MotionPerfect software. This application development tool is Windows-based and includes a screen editor, program debugger, keypad emulation and a software oscilloscope.
