Culverts pump handles waste

The Genflo culverts pump, for the handling of waste materials including solids, liquids, noxious and abrasive slurries, is now available for sale or hire through Jet-Pump Solutions, with operators where necessary. The pump can be used to clean culverts, tanks and tunnels, to mop up sewage, distribute sands and gravel when changing filterbed media, and in the desilting of pumping stations. Over a distance of 30m or a 30m lift, outputs are 5 to 10t/h. This can be increased to 50t/h in certain conditions. Built to go through the smallest manhole, the pump can be used in the dry or submerged, as a hopper for feeding slurries, or as a vacuum generator. Self-priming and easy to use, it can be driven by the most convenient fluid supply water, air, steam and even mud. The company also offers effective odour control.
