Disk holder January 1st 2005 Oklahoma Safety Equipment Co (Oseco) has developed a solid Fluoropolymerbooted insert holder to provide cost effective protection against premature rupture disk failure in corrosive environments.
The holder is constructed with a solid Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) resin insert pressed into the inner diameter of a stainless steel holder.
When used with a Fluoropolymer lined rupture disk, only Fluoropolymer is in contact with the corrosive media, extending holder service life.
The company says the PTFE liner is a cost-effective alternative to holders machined from expensive corrosiveresistant alloys and that the solid insert is not susceptible to chipping and wear.
The holder bolts between standard ANSI pipe flanges. The non-torquesensitive, flat-sealed holders come in a range of sizes from 1 to 8in. More articles from Oklahoma Safety Equipment Co: |
