nmc (uk) has introduced a thermal insulation and pipe protection system for the most demanding on and off-shore applications. System 2000D comprises a closed cell thermoplastic material with either Class O Insultube and Insulsheet or halogen-free, high temperature K-Flex Eco laminated with a tough, thick hypalon-based polymeric outer covering. The product is a dry coat finish that allows speedy installation. It protects against moisture ingress and pipe corrosion, affords fire resistance to Class 0, has an ozone depletion potential of zero and achieves good mechanical strength. Suitable for use in difficult and inaccessible areas, System 2000D can be used both for hot pipe work and condensation control on cold pipework.
