The new VLC floor scales from Mettler Toledo are said to set new standards for weighing in environments where hygiene is essential.

Protected to ip65, the scales are suitable for the harsh, wet environments of the food industry.

Low profile design minimises operator effort, and installation is simple whether scales are installed in a pit, on the floor or used as portable scales.

Options include 304 and 316 stainless steel versions and ex versions. The 100% end-loading is suitable for handling forklift traffic and concentrated load applications while stainless steel pit liners are suitable for hygienic applications where cross-contamination is unacceptable.
