January 1st 2005

At Machine Building 2005 (16 to 17 February, NEC) KabelSchlepp Metool will be showing a range of cable carriers as well as Metool’s motorised and spring-operated cable reels.

Robotrax will be on display.

Described as the first truly threeaxis cable carrier, it is modelled on the human spine and designed specifically for robotic applications.

For more conventional applications, Uniflex is said to be virtually indestructible due to its integral steel cable. Lightweight and elastic, it is designed for fitand- forget operation.

Also in the Kabelschlepp range, Quantum combines almost silent, vibration-free running with high speed, long life operation. It is a one-piece polypropylene extrusion rather than an assembly of separate articulating links.
