Palintest’s Chlorometer Duo is a handheld chlorine meter with a broad measuring range. It lets users measure the high chlorine levels used for pipework sterilisation and low residual disinfectant levels in treated drinking water.

It is calibrated to monitor residual chlorine using the DPD standard method.

This test reveals both free and total chlorine in the 0 to 5mg/L range.

The higher range test uses the iodine release technique for total chlorine analysis across the 0 to 200mg/L range. Low range resolution is 0.01mg/L; high range is 1mg/L.

Each test takes about 1min. A reagent tablet is added to a 10mL sample, the test tube is inserted in the meter and a button pressed. Results are displayed immediately.
