FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE USE
January 1st 2004 Lapp has extended its range of heat resistant silicone cables with the new Silflex H05SS-F cable with HAR (harmonised) approval for use throughout Europe.
The new cable replaces the VDE type N2GMH2G and is halogen-free with a flame retardant outer sheath. It is suitable for high temperature applications, including foundries and steelworks, or in light units, such as solarium and sauna systems.
Lapp also provides an EWKF cable that incorporates a special silicone compound that allows the cable to be used in conditions that would limit the lifespan of conventional silicone cables. Its high flashpoint is a key feature. More articles from Lapp Limited: |
