March 1st 2005 A software control package has been developed by Sartorius for users in pack houses, ready meal production plants, portion control applications and other production environments where manual checkweighing is needed.
Suitable for average weight or minimum weight processes, SartoSure is said to offer increased productivity and reduced giveaway.
It has a supervisor controlled remote scale setup that ensures fast, accurate weighing. The software continuously monitors each scale on a single, central PC, offering real time management and control information.
With network capability of up to 128 scales, it offers simple, remote uploading of product data to individual or groups of scales, allowing quick and error-free product changeovers, as well as automatic adjustment of tolerance limits for average weight applications.
