By optimising seal water consumption, the SmartFlow intelligent control system is said to create an effective, reliable and economical way to combine optimum seal performance with significantly reduced costs.
Water used to cool mechanical seals and lubricate seal faces must be filtered before use and treated prior to disposal, so minimising the volume of water used for cooling brings immediate cost savings.
