Hoerbiger-Origa has extended its Airfit family of industrial air preparation equipment with the introduction of a heavy duty G2 (2in) filter/regulator/lubricator or FRL, called the A50 series. The robust A50 is intended for use in the main line of larger compressed air distribution systems. It is designed to run and run with minimum maintenance. Pneumatic or electronic pilot control allows the unit to be integrated into the most modern compressed air management systems, while its filter water separator, is based around an efficient cyclone separator that provides simultaneous two-stage separation using both centrifugal force and filter media. This ensures a minimised pressure drop across the separator and makes adjustment easy.
